I have some extensive notes on this SACD, but my listening habits have become so mentally taxing, that I will be short.

I am a Peter Gabriel fan, the older stuff. I also enjoy Genesis and Phil Collins, but will wait for the respective issues on SACD.

This is by far my favorite album from PG. It really has a broad stroke of musical content. SACD really brings this allready excellent CD to life. I found some standouts to be the Phil Collins(Drums), and the Xylophone(Lead a Normal Life/No Self Control).

Games w/o Frontiers is my personal favorite, silly lyrics, but serious musicianship prevail and carry the weight.

I worthwhile buy for SACD Peter Gabriel fans.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I've got the Remastered SACD version of "So." It's only so-so...... Sorry I had to insert the lousy pun. The SACD version really was a bit of a let-down though.

I was really suprised that the quality of Gabriel's SACD re-issues were not much (if at all) better than the redbook versions. Maybe it was because the redbooks were done very well or the SACD was done poorly or a bit of both. I borrowed SACD copies of Up and So and then decided just to stay with my redbook CDs.
