CS10 is a perfect match for your Monitor 70's. The CS400i is the better center overall but the timbre match won't be perfect.Display: Sony 42" LCD
Sources: Harman Kardon DVD-27,
Panasonic DMP-BDT110 blu ray player
AVR: Sony STR-DA2400ES
Amps: Sonance Sonamp 260(fronts),
Kenwood KM-894(surrounds)
Fronts: NHT 2.5
Center: NHT VS-1.2A
Surrounds: NHT Super One

Thanks HTGuru, can I ask why the CS10????

Have tried both and it was a toss up so far, the Monitor 70 suggest the CS20 the big brother of the Cs10 I am thinking on the CS10 anyway's just have to compare the 400I have the same size drivers???

The CS2 or CS20 would both work well and will better keep up with the M70's than the CS10. The CS400i is the matching center for the RTxxxi series from about 12 years ago. It does have the same size drivers and as dskip mentioned, so it may keep up with the 70's better. In the end, I would really suggest going with the CS2 or CS20(same speaker, different cosmetics). Same size drivers, all perfectly matched for the best overall sound.Display: Sony 42" LCD

Thanks you guy's but then would have two extra center speakers, will play a couple of chapters of the same movie and see which center sounds better instead of prematurely dying young from my wife hitting me on the head with one of the center speakers, Ouch.
