Ah, didn't think of that. It was a fairly deserted area, oh well maybe next time?

It must be the town created just for the hardcore Polkies. I wonder what's the house prices if I ever want to move there.

There is a sign down in Eastern Virginia/Maryland area for a road called Goose Kill Rd that routinely gets stolen. Sucks because when I used to have to drive down to a Navy facility in that area, I had to take Goose Kill Rd a couple of times and missed the turn because of the missing sign. Dunno why it's so popular.

There are two streets in NJ that I know where the street signs have been welded on to the poles because of consistent theft. Breakneck Rd and Copperhead Rd. I know why Breakneck Rd is called Breakneck Rd but not so sure about Copperhead Rd. I can see why they would be popular though.

Another road I read about in, like a "Weird NJ" magazine or something similar was called "Center Ct" for Center Court. The name of street was changed before the developer even finished building the development. The sign was stolen 17 times within 2 months before the first resident was even allowed to get a COO and move in. So instead of dealing with stolen signs for the rest of eternity, the township made the developer change the name of the street to something less likely to be swiped by basketball fans. Honestly, I think they just should have made the pole taller.

Hey Jstas, The Copperhead Road sign is a NASCAR thing. The song is by Steve Earle about runnin shine and the Vietnam war.

We've got "Turkey Bottom Rd" and "Lick Run Rd" around here...

Also, there's an "Utt Rd", which always gets a "B" mailbox letter pasted to the front of it.
    Ludicrous gibs!
