garage sale score

big multi family sale in my community...i spotted some light oak from 100 ft...a pair of Klipsch kg-1..5 bucks! and they threw in some decent in wall spkrs...these things are very decent for bookshelf-size...my marantz 2270 is more than happy to drive them

    You basically got those free! Awesome find man. I've had no such luck at garage sales/thrift stores even with multiple attempts to find "hidden gems" as my wife and I call them.

    thanks! they are as new...they have some screw holes in the bottom..they probably lived on stands..i didn't think to ask..just got outta there! they're pretty impressive performers

    Nice score! Garage sales and thrift stores seem to be the last frontier of good buys and pawn shops usually know what they have any want way too much for it...

    The thrift stores around here caught on and use finished Ebay auctions for pricing. :rolleyes:
