Subwoofer - OK on its side?

I just bought a PSW111 powered subwoofer to go in our kitchen on top of the cabinets. Unfortunately, I didn't take the rubber feet into account when I checked if there is enough height available between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling. I could remove the feet, but then the port would be blocked, so I put it on its side. It seems to work fine this way, but I'm wondering if there is any problem in placing it this way?

    Nope, you're fine. Enjoy.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
