You go Bob! We'll see you in September!~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Can you imagine how much it would cost to do a full tube replacement on a pair of those amps!   I suppose that might just be a drop in the bucket for someone willing to pay $30K+ for them though...

So far, I'm leading the pack of bidders... for now. I need to decide quickly if I should adjust my current limit in case I step away from the computer.
Wish me luck! -

Looks like he didnt overspend on that 5k paintjob at that price lol...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

That is a sweet pair of amps for 32,000.
I'll bet he won't use that painter with cost no object free reign again. He'll get an estimate from him next time for sure. That paint job ate into his profits on this one. at 1/6 the price, it doesn't equate no matter how beautiful it is. Give him some granite slabs next time and some Krylon for the metal work.
I was surprised there wasn't alot of bidding at the end to.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

when you can afford a $32,000 amp, you ain't worried about the cost of re-ubing it...
