Hi All,
Wondering if its okay to stack the very same Marantz units which I have purchased
http://www.cinenow.co.uk/articles/23002-ifa-2010-marantz-launches-18-new-products
Reason is that my shelf is not high enough the moment, however if I remove the centre shelf then it will fit comfortably.
There seems to be ventilation for the receiver heat.
I'm new to this AV world

depends if the receiver generates heat... usually needs soem ventilation to cool it down... it's not the amps that heat up, it's the video processing board...

You should be ok, but the louder you turn it up the more heat the reciever will generate so you may want to try and put something between the casters to add a bit more space between the reciever and DVD player.
Nice choice in components btw.

believe it or not my first fix for something like this was to go to Home Depot and got 4 x2in pvc fittings and I had black gorilla tape and it looked great before I got the right size rack.I don't know if you even have that much space, but something like this little fix is way better than nothing.2chl- Adcom GFA- 555-Onkyo P-3150v pre/amp- JVC-QL-A200 tt- Denon 1940 ci cdp- Adcom GFS-6 -Modded '87 SDA 2Bs - Dynamat Ext.- BH-5- X-Overs VR-3, RDO-194 tweeters, Larry's Rings, Speakon/Neutrik I/C- Cherry stain tops Advent Maestros,Ohm model E

If the receiver has vents on top I would not do it.2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. That is the truth.
My Sony 7100ES top is one large vent, but it was never hot to the touch. I put the matching 9100ES SACD on top and the two looked great. Would have made a great picture for an advertisement. Later I touched the AVR and it was hotter than Hades. I hated taking the 9100ES off since it looked so good, but at least everything still works 4 years later.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
