Having Psw110 Issues.

Hi. I have a yamaha htr-6063 reciever and polk audio speakers, Setup as 5.1 and everything is hooked up with hdmi. After hooking everything up i played a blueray and everything worked well for a few minutes and the sub quit. I called polk audio and the rep said it was the amp in the sub so he sent me a new one and I replaced it. Same thing, worked for a bit then quit. Took the sub back to the store and hooked it up to the same reciever they had setup with my power cable and sub cable and it worked fine. So we decieded it was the reciever and they swapped it out with another. Just finished swapping the reciever out at home and I am having the same problem. The sub is powered and hooked up correctly, yet I cannot get anything from the sub or even the SW icon to light up on the reciever. If i turn on extra bass in the config. settings the SW icon lights up. If i run sound test the sub gives out a faint sound. I'm sure its hooked up properly, I know the power cable, amp, reciever and sub cable are fine. Im lost and dissappointed, please help!!

From what I am reading, you have not swapped cables yet. You may say it is working fine but until you swap it you can not know for sure. To me this is simple troubleshooting procedure, you tried 2 different sub amps, 2 different receiver and the problem reoccur so now what is in between? There is only the cable in between, try swapping cable. Your last check would be the your speaking setting in the receiver, you should also check that.
