Just Got Monitor 5B

I just picked up a pair of Monitor 5B's off CL to fix up. I had posted the CL link in the "wanted" section for others but I couldn't take it anymore and bought them. The gentleman selling them was cool and has a nice modest 2ch rig with an Adcom pre and main amp to drive a pair of vintage AR speakers that he refinished an refurbished. Sourced included a Technics SL-1200mk TT and an Akai R2R. He hang out on AudioKarma.
The cabinets and grills are in very nice condition. The only problem I have found, which was disclosed before the sale, is one MW is locked. The tweeters are the SL-2000 and it has fuses (no poly switches)
. Once I get a replacement MW I may have a M5A, M5B, S8 shoot-out.
