When you do, just ask for a recommendation as to what brand. If you ask about specific brands, you won't get anything but a recommendation you didn't even ask for...save yourself the time.

    Parts Express

    Sonicraft

    Parts Connexion

    Madisound

I have bought from all 4 and they provide excellent service.

I've ordered from Sonicraft (twice) and Partsexpress (several times) and never had a problem.

I have ordered from Handmade Electronics (once) as well as Parts Connexion (several times) and they were reliable.
In fact, I'm going to get my next batch of capacitors from Parts Connexion again, and most likely will try Madisound for some of the missing values in the Claritycap range.

I've ordered from Parts Express, Michael Percy, Parts Connexion, Vampire Wire and Sonic Craft. I'd have to say the best treatment and one on one discussion was without a doubt from Jeff @ Sonic Craft.

My dry fitment for Polkie Brgman's RTA15 xovers....all GenI Sonicaps for this board folks. He's going to fall in love again

It doesn't look like Meniscus has been mentioned yet:

    http://meniscusaudio.com

They will unwind inductors for you, have good customer service, etc. I've been able to get them to tweak orders slightly after submitting/paying. I just sent them an email asking "Hey, can you add **** to order YYY", and I got an email back saying "done". Very nice.

I've rebuilt a lot of xovers and never had to request the unwinding of an inductor. There have been times when I've had to unwind it to tweak the DCR or make an adjustment but not from a retailer standpoint. It makes more sense to DIY and check the DCR yourself but perhaps you've ran into some major problems, who knows I guess.

Some of those aformentioned websites, PE and Michael Percy, will not unwind inductors for you if I was to take an educated guess. They're not very personal from my experience.

Very handy if you don't have an LCR meter on hand to check the inductance yourself.I recently made my first order with them for some ERSA coils since ERSA 's site indicated they were out of stock. He recognized I was a new customer and sent me a nice thank you email. The parts arrived promptly and with a bag of yummy candies.
