So I am mainly a Mac person but I have been missing out on the higher res gaming in the PC world.
I contemplated building a gaming rig but I do a lot of traveling for work, so I decided to head out and look for the most beastly laptop I could find. Ended up with this:
17.3" 1080p Display
2nd generation Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor 2.00GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.90GHz
8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 DIMM)
1500GB Dual Hard Drive (2x750GB)
Slot-loading Blu-ray Player & SuperMulti DVD Burner
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Radeon HD 6850M Graphics with 1024MB GDDR5 and up to 4083MB total graphics memory
120hz 3D Display with Active Shutter Glasses
Played a little Half-Life 2 in 3D and tried out my Tron 3D Blu-ray and it is quite cool! The 3D aspect was more of a bonus with this laptop as I was mainly after local storage, CPU power, and RAM but it is great having 3D wherever I go.

Looks good bro. I like the keyboard lay out on it. Are the keys backlit as well? Nice color too.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

The keys are indeed backlit but you toggle the light on and off with a key press unlike my MacBook pro which had light sensors. Thanks!// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //
