The Library of Congress has a project underway to digitize and stream 78rpm recordings they have in their collection from Sony-owned labels. The initial release was yesterday and consists of 10,000 titles from the Victor Talking Machine Company ranging from 1900-1925. It includes music and comedy. Pretty cool stuff, check it out here:

    Very cool site...

    Took me back about a half century when I spent a little time with an Edison cylinder player some friends of my folks owned.
