Just wonder what others set their crossover at in their reciciever settings. I see that the speaker itself has a crossover range of 50 Htz to 2 KHtz?

    I run mine full-range.

Almost pointless to use a high-pass filter on a speaker that goes deeper than mass-market "subwoofers".
Unless you've got a REAL subwoofer, you're probably better off not using it, and just going with the Polks.

Nice thing about that is with two physical locations for your bass, standing waves "might" be reduced.
