don't want to but here goes.

I have to sell my Carver Al III plus tower speakers and Carver M 1.5t amp

The speakers are black veneer new Dayton subs in them and new Dayton caps on the highs, these are in excellent condition and sound great with enough power. no buzzing of any kind coming from the ribbons. asking $500 firm

Carver M 1.5t power amp, rebuilt by Rita and signed by Bob himself, in excellent condition asking $400

I am looking for local sales at this time and am not offering shipping if you want to arrange shipping on the amp only I will sell and ship no shipping on the speakers though.

pm if interested

Which Dayton subs did you put in? Which caps did you replace and did it make a difference. I wish I was closer to grab those ALIII's!

the Dayton Metallized Polypropylene and they were like 100ufx4 and the Dayton classic subwoofer. the subs made a difference over stock and the caps really helped out the highs, not like they needed it though.

If you were planning on a trip to WI or close by soon I would take the ALIII's.

Gosh, I'd love to buy this amp (or at least strongly consider it) but I have to sell my Adcom 5503 amp first - I have a large room and the Adcom doesn't push enough watts through (3x 200W). I'm a Colorado guy myself.

Kevin - You're killing us. So many speakers, so little time (and space)!

I absolutely hate to sell any of it but they're just going to sit for at least a year or more and I really need the money.

What condition are the speakers on the Audiogon scale? How are they cosmetically....scratches, dings, corner problems? Where are you in Northern CO, in relation to Fort Collins or DIA for example?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I am in Loveland CO, in excellent condition say 8/9-10 small all I found was one small area where the veneer is slightly lifting in one spot on the bottom but I didn't even notice it till just the other day. no problems buzzing or anything. foam is intact felt is there.

Congrats! Bummer for me because I was possibly going to be up North this weekend and was thinking about giving you a ring to come over and give them a listen. Glad you sold them though.
