Sirius/XM vs Sonic Tap

How does Sirius or XM compare to Direct TV's Sonic Tap? I personally think Sonic Tap sucks. I listen to mainly Classic Rock and 8 Tracks on Sonic Tap and both play the same songs over and over. The 8 Tracks station is particularly bad in this regard. If I remember from the past the Deep Tracks on Sirius was especially good.

    Can't comment on Sonic Tap but I've had XM for years and love it.

    I have limited exposure to Sonic Tap but I absolutely love Sirius. The added bonus of having it built into my AVR, an app on my iPhone and iPad, as well as streaming at work, it is worth the premium for me.
