Ok...having just gone to see Thor...and enjoying it...I am curious to see which of these movies the rest of you may go see.

I will state off the bat...if I am going to a theater...it is not for a comedy...not for a drama...not for horror...not for a cop show...

I will watch those on my home theater.

It must be a bigger than life epic, sci-fi or fantasy movie. It is just my prefrerence. I know that the 4th installment of Pirates has already been bashed pretty good along with the 3rd Transformers and Conan has gotten some talk...and I have included them in my poll...but what about the rest of these? Vote for all or none.

Most likely Pirates and Transformers, the rest can wait for Blu.
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

Have to go with Thor. The trailers look awesome !

A possible maybe is "Green Lantern". Big fan of that comic, back in the day.

    In brightest day,
    In darkest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
    Beware my power...Green Lantern's light!

The rest will be a rent.

Never was a fan of Captain America. Even though the CA trailer teased Robert Downey, Jr. (?!!!), it'll be a rent.

It is really cool, though, how they're bringing the comics to the big screen.

Transformers is the only one that is a definite see in theaters movie on my list this summer...my kid loves the series and I like it for what it is. As for the rest I might see some or none, hard to say...time and money and work all in the way. I can say that I will probably own all of them on blu at some point though. Movies like these are far more enjoyable to me and the family at home with our 65in tele and the denon powered 5.2 polk set up.

Thor, no, eh. I've had enough Pirates, even as much as I like Depp (as an actor, not a person). Apes, again, eh.

I chose Transformers, because I just have to. I also chose Green Latern, because Cyndi wants to see anything with Mr. Reynolds (and his abs) in it.

I'm ashamed to say it, but I kind of want to see Fast Five. Just horsepower and testosterone, I don't have to think about the plot, just go for the ride.

Hell i'll go see them all. People are way too upright and critical of movies these days. All of these, while likely not great movies, should be good fun

None of the above. I will go the movies for special categories but none of these rise to that level. I will wait and get them all from netflix. I will watch all of them but I doubt if I will buy any of them.

None of the above. I'm only interested in this:

My hopes and expectations are probably already way too high!

Captain America: The Fist Avenger sounds like a porno Steve...what kind of movies are you recommending here?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

LMFAO! I didn't even see that.

Leave it to the Assless Chaps Avenger to find that!

None of the above. They all look like rentals except for Pirates which I will avoid altogether because the third installment was awful.

BD for some or all of them. I'll wait for the reviews to start rolling in.
And by reviews, I mean the general public, NOT those hack journalists who are 'off the books' of most of the major studios.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

Ok...so far I went to see Thor, Green Lantern, X-Men, Captain America and Pirates. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. I will probably purchase a copy of them all for the collection. Transformers will definitely be a buy for the HT. I have not been to see Planet of the Apes or Conan. From what I am seeing Planet of the Apes is getting some excellent press...not so much for Conan. Who has seen either of these 2? They are still playing if they are worthy of a big screen.

How about you guys? Which of these did you go see? What did you think?
