Hmm not sure what kind of strategy that is? I understand releasing small batches of speakers but not limiting the release of the whole line. I mean what if someone wanted to base their home theater setup around the LSim line? They would have to wait in a staggered fashion to buy different parts of their planned home theater rather than having the luxury of just buying the system all at once ... a bit weird if you ask me.

Who was your source for this surfer-dude. It makes so little sense that I have to question the accuracy of your source.

I was on the line, with Eric, at polks CS, He was the one who filled me in on it, he said thats what was told to him,, it does however sound odd, but again, thats what he said,,

and maybe they wanted to make sure everything is working correctly and also production is done to their standards thus only release a small batch at a time that they approve once they get them.

Also Polk probably wanted to do it right the first time something gets released and not have to redo or rework something once the public has it, IE why there might be a delay since it was announced to come out. Its better to have to wait a little bit then rush production and put out a crappy product that isn't to their standards and don't want to have to take returns etc back on.

Loved my LSi's, can only imagine how the new line-up sounds.

Even then it wouldn't matter, they'd be out of my budget

I have been postponing the upgrade of my HT fronts from LSi15s to the new LSiM since I heard of these speakers last year. However I have upgradeitis, so I think I am going to upgrade my two-channel to the Aerial 7T, and move the PSB Synchrony One towers into the HT.

Plus I can get the Aerial 7T in rosewood.

The July projection is about right. Polk experienced some issues which delayed the original street date for the entire product line.

This happens with all manufacturers but everything is moving forward and there are no plans to introduce it in parts, from what I know.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Four question marks?

They will be out when they are done. As far as I've heard, they are on final pre-production right now, just buttoning it up. The cabinets have been the issue, as they are more involved than anything Polk has ever done. It's not uncommon for the smallest speaker, ie the shelf model to hit the streets first, it's less complicated to build.

I've heard everything from mid-May to October. Late June, early July is what seems to be the common thought, again, from what I have heard.

What are you worried about? Let them finish the line, and get it out properly. Once you hear them, and see them, you'll understand. This is flagship stuff, the best Polk has *ever* produced, and not by a small margian either.

    Cheers,
    Russ

At some point, I centralized my updated expectatives on the new LSi-M series, however, I felt unsafe in the way of introduction, together with the uncertain date of start, took me to another purpose.
I hope to list them in the future and feel the experience LSi gave me in those moments and today I say good-bye.

Is it really necessary to speak like you are a character from the Matrix trilogy or Yoda from Star Wars?

ha! That actually probably makes it worse, since the original translation was probably inaccurate.
