I know that the height says 42"......Does this include the feet or is this just the cabinet height?
Would someone that has the 70's please give me the overall height with the feet.....going to customize my wall for a snug fit...

I would appreciate it alot.

Thanks alot..........cant wait to get'em......these will be the final pieces to complete my MAN:biggrin: CAVE:biggrin:

I'm not sure I need an amp..to me even with the R50's......it sounds fantastic..If I go to reference I can't hardly hear myself talk........can't imagine what it'll sound like with the 70's.....so do I need and amp?

I have an Onkyo 1008..135 per channel,if that helps any?

You don't need one, but I know my 70's sound much nicer with the addition of an external amp. You've got an awful nice AVR there that I would think would do the trick without extra power.

Front - Polk Audio Monitor 70
    Center - Polk Audio CS2
Rear - Polk Audio TSi 100
    Sub - Klipsch rw-10d
    AVR - Onkyo ht-rc180
    Main Amp- Parasound HCA-2003
    Surround Amp- Sonance Sonamp 260
    Tuner- Parasound tdq-1600
Turntable- Pro-ject Debut III USB w/upgraded platter
    IPod dock - Pure i20
    TV - Panasonic Viera tc-p46g10
    Sony Playstation 3(250GB)
    Nintendo Wii
    Power Conditioner- Panamax 5100

    Not in use-
    Polk Audio Monitor 60
    Polk Audio PSW10
    Parasound p/sp-1000

Your amp puts out the same amount of power as my 807. I don't figure the amp is a "necessity" for a 5.1, but anything over that, the amp sure adds a nice creature comfort

I'm running an 808 and a 5ch Sony E9000ES amp with the M70's. The 808 only powers my back surrounds and the Sony does the rest. Absolutely love the sound.

Give it a go with your 1008, it'll sound great. If you feel the itch for more power down the road you're already setup to add an external amp.
