Pretty accurate list of commonly asked questions. Could be useful to someone with a big interview coming up."Dr Dunn admitted that his research could also be interpreted as evidence that women are shallower than men. He said: "Let's face it - there's evidence to support it."Best Buy is for people who don't know any better. Magnolia is for people who don't know any better and have more money to spend.

Another tip for those on the market... do a quick google search for what behavioral competencies are important for your intended job. Thinking of a first-line manager job? Business unit exec? There are well-documented lists of the competencies important for those roles...
For each competency you find/agree to be important for the job you're interviewing for, prepare by listing out a few critical incidents for each.
A critical incident is defined as a concise description of the situation, the behavior YOU took in response to the situation, and the outcome. (It's important to come up with incidents where YOU took action, versus where WE took action...hiring mgrs are going to want to know what you specifically did to respond to a stimulus).
Having a matrix of competencies x critical incidents will prepare you very well for behavioral interviews (e.g. tell me about a time when...), but don't forget to be very familiar with what you have on your resume and be prepared to talk about and/or demonstrate any technical / analytical skills you claim to have at any point.
Finally, be prepared with a list of questions for the employer. Show interest, do your research on the organization, ask to talk to other employees not on the interviewing panel.
If nothing else, dress professional and act confident (but not arrogant)! -
What a bunch of crap. Thank god I work in a technical field with real interview
questions."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
