I have too much gear and selling some off. The amp works great. It does have some scratches but nothing major. What can I say about this amp that hasn't beens said. It's a great amp for the $!

Selling it for what I paid for it $275 plus shipping from 60440

Nice price on one of the best work-horses around. This unit will run (almost forever) and has wonderful power reserves. Great entry into the two channel realm. Will power almost anything but the MOST demanding low impedance loads (I mean lower than 4 ohms--like 2 ohms or less).

I've had mine for 3 years and I'm the 3rd or 4th owner? Can you say TANK!

Thanks it is a great amp but, I have a McIntosh 2105, a sunfire Sig 625X2, Sunfire 300X2, and the 555. I know it is hard to compair a amp that was under $1000 new and one that was in the $2000 + range but, the adcom can run with the bigger boys without batting an eye.

To some of the newbies here thinking about getting their feet wet getting into separate components, the Adcom 555 is a sweet little amp to start off with. Many favor the 555 over the 555II.YMMV, enjoy:)

Hi Ernie; Did you buy this new, are the manuals with it and has any refreshing work been done to this amp? I just bought a set of Carver ALIII's and could use a good amp to drive them with if this has enough power. Thanks

The Carver III yes it would drive them no problem. I bought this unit from a member here. I am not the original owner. Sorry I do not have the manual or original box for it. I have no problem shipping this though. I have shipped heavier in the past.

    Thanks
