great knockout.
Well she actually doesn't need protection. She is quite the kickboxer herself and trains constantly at the gym. I pity the fool that tries to mess with her.

Nicely Done. Or should I say viciously done?

Well, if his fight was a non-aired pre-lim and it got to be shown as time filler on the PPV, it was impressive enough to warrant that and I promise you, higher-ups in the UFC liked what they saw. He's been talked about all over the place and that's what Dana likes. Fights and fighters like that bring viewers, ticket sales and PPV sales. The kid was impressive on Saturday night and if he's as good as it seems, I think he's going to have a decent career in the UFC. He's just got to keep up his training and conditioning.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

It was a cool KO for sure.

It was a decent fight overall. Not very boring just a couple of guys I didn't know much about. Not having a horse in the race to root for can make a fight an instant snoozer. Then again, I wasn't sure who Joe's guy was but now that I know and I have a lasting impression of the first spinning back fist I ever saw connect properly and win a fight like it was Street Fighter II, I'll be paying more attention when I see Makdessi on the card again.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

That's all he does....training full time. Last week I was at my sisters' place when Makdessi got back from the gym. He prepared an ice cold bath and dunked himself in it.....something about helping the muscles after a workout. I'm telling you, this guy is focused!

Runners do this ice bath to keep the muscles from getting bigger and instead make them harder and stronger with less mass -

WHAT? That news to me. They do it to flush the lactic acid out of the muscle. It helps muscle recovery. Has no influence whatsoever on reducing the size of the muscle.Shawn
