Harman Kardon AVR 635 $200 + S&H

Hey All,

I'm selling the Harman Kardon 635 I bought from stangjason (see this thread) a few months ago. It's a great receiver, and works perfectly, and I hate to part with it, I could just really use a little extra coin right now.

Only problems, as mentioned in the above-linked thread :
- the main door doesn't latch. Never bothered me, shouldn't bother you, and could easily be fixed with a velcro or magnet piece if you were so inclined
- the cover to the SECONDARY remote doesn't stay on. Main remote is in perfect shape.

I have the original box, both remotes (main and secondary), and instruction manual, as well as that weird antenna thing I never figured out and the power cord. Shipping is from 01821. Paypal preferred, but I"ll accept anything reasonable (personal check is fine but you'll have to wait for it to clear before I ship, sorry).

I'm reusing stangjason's pics because you never know if something like this will sell, and I'm not pulling it out only to have to put it back.

I really hate to let this thing go, but hopefully someone else can enjoy an amazing receiver for a great price.

PM me with any questions.

I'll say the same thing I said before: love these avrs. Tons of power for a receiver, and you can get lossless bd soundtracks with full bass management because of the multi-channel inputs. Absolutely impossible to get this kind of power and sq with hdmi for anywhere near the price, but with this receiver you don't need it (hdmi that is)!

Good luck and great price. I have this exact AVR, and have had it for about six years. It cranks and has all the necessary inputs I've needed. I never used the second zone, but I've heard great things about it.

This is back on the market - sda2mike thought it had HDMI in/out - it does NOT.

This is a great receiver, and really - there is no need for HDMI with this. It has all of the inputs you would need without it. I've got the exact same one sitting on the floor (upgraded to the SC-37)

Funny thing is, I must have carried it funny when I brought it upstairs. Thing was perfectly flawless, now my door doesn't close all the way either. Doh!

Just an FYI if you haven't figured it out - that funny "antenna looking thing" is the mic for doing the auto speaker calibration

Good luck with sale! I wouldn't sell mine for $200 - I'd throw it out in the garage before I let it go for that.

I used to have one and the door was also problematic. I know velcro or magnets were mentioned above, but I just put two little pieces of blutak in there and it stayed shut just fine.
