Ok, so I currently have a 92 in this class, and the final grade hasn't come in... it's a peer evaluation grade.... my team had some issues, and I am thinking my evaluation grade might drop me to a 89. I wan't to keep the A... and an extra credit opportunity just came up.. the instructor sent this email:
Would anyone that fits this criteria be willing to do this? I know it's a stretch, but I figured that it never hurts to ask.
One of my colleagues is conducting research pertaining to family owned businesses. She has asked for help in identifying family owned businesses and I'm turning to you. Perhaps someone in your family, a close friend, a neighbor, or a classmate, has a business that would be of interest to her research. The firm can be located anywhere, and the size of the company is irrelevant.
Her criteria for a company to be considered a family firm is (1) family owned (2) family managed and (3) generational - intent to pass the firm to the next generation of family.

I don't own a company like that, but I work for one...... -
FWIW, I can probably help you out with criteria 1 & 2 on your list...
but the third thing I am not so sure about? I mean, hey, if they want to take it over they are welcome to, but honestly, my main reason for doing all this now is so they can concentrate on their education.
I would also like to know exactly what this research is all about before I commit to anything... you understand.
And only if you leave the "forever love" part out of the equation...:rolleyes:So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

haha... you know, I am not too sure about this research. Grades just came in (early) on the team evaluation, and I actually did well, getting a 96. The ten points will not affect my grade. It seems you don't have to worry about the unconditional love
Thanks for the offer though! I really can't believe I did so well on that... I was expecting 75 at best... i have a feeling this must have been graded very leniently.
just imagine working with me on a team... come on.. imagine it... it would be hell, wouldn't it?! Not to mention that we had four evaluations,, all of which I did crappy on. -
Is that the same as "Me love you long time" ?
