Blue Jeans Cable?

If I wanted to audition some of the "better than hardware grade" speaker wire, would Blue Jeans be a good place to start? I would just be looking for wires to replace the no-frills 14 awg wire I have now. I have a Pioneer VSX 816 (7x100wpc) with 2xRT 600, 1x CS 400i, 4x Monitor 50, 1x Parts Express C1500K 15" Sealed Sub Kit.
I've looked over their site a bit, and read several of their articles; they seem to be pretty straight-forward. I'm willing to pay more for "made in USA", as so few products are these days.
I initially discovered them while researching high-end speaker wire construction and marketing claims, and ran across this article, an entertaining read:

They don't make their own wire. They just re-sell Belden 5000 series and Canare 4S11, which they feel are decent wire. Where that cable is actually manufactured, I don't know. If you did want to try one of them I'd recommend starting with the Belden 5000UE which is a 12AWG. All of them would be a little bulky though for running all over the room. You might just try it with the fronts first to see if you notice any improvement.2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. I looked at them as well. I ended up going to a local hi-fi shop and buying Audioquest FLX 14/4 CL2 in wall rated wire. Its basically about the same as the Canare but I was able to get it same day and for ~35 bucks for 3 11 foot runs.
I figured why bother with my surrounds and left them with the 14 gauge monoprice I had wired already.
So Blue Jeans Cable is good but you might also see what hi-fi shops around you carry and see if they have something comparable. I am pretty happy w/ my Audioquest wires but might eventually step it up to some of their higher line speaker cables at a later date.
I decided that until I had better interconnects than my cheap Monoprice stuff not to worry about it.
Also I am beginning to find that while in 2 channel listening you can hear a difference in wires its not as easy to do so when mostly using the wires for HT. This doesnt mean the difference isnt there, because it is, its just that your attention is elsewhere like following a plot and watching rather than just listening and hearing those subtle differences.
So get the Canare or something around that price range from a local hi-fi shop and you should be good. Then next up is interconnects if you are using an external amp IMHO."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I liked my sub cables I bought from BJC. Nice on the phone, reasonably priced and really quick shipping. The SQ improvement was noticeable and no more hum!

I have BJC digital cables running from my cable box and Blu Ray player. Great quality cable and Canare RCA connections. Also an awesome company to deal with.

Yes, a key phrase in your post is "made in USA". If you're willing to pay more for that, then there's no better source available for wire and cable. Blue Jeans owner Kurt Denke is a straight-shooter who's stood up to the nonsense that Monster tries to bully small businesses it thinks that it can steamroller, as the article you link shows. Fortunately, running into an attorney who's also knowledgable in audio technology was more than a match for them.
The Blue Jeans site has numerous educational articles that you should check out if you haven't already done so and his most recent article, relating to power cords, may interest you and can be read here . -
The more I look at their website, the more I am impressed. When the need arises, they'll be getting at least some business.
As an American, I recommend this business if their product suits your needs.
