Selling my SDA-2B's (TL'd), I would rate the condition as 8.5 out of 10....they are in the best condition of any vintage Polk I have seen thus far. I picked them up from a CP member in stock form. The pic's have spots from my camera and not on the speaker itself.

Here are the details:
- SDA-2B's with upgraded XO's by Ben to be TL'd.
- RDO-198's installed
- Wooded capped version which is heavier, which helps with Bass
- Bottom inserts installed, and a set of spikes are included
- Added Larry's rings to the PR, Driver's, and Tweeters
- Heavy gauge IC cable included which uses just the required pin connection
- Will include PDF files that have SDA line info....
- Left speaker stereo driver was replaced with an equal 6503, the original had the dust cap pushed in....not a big deal but I only noticed a difference in color after the pic's I took.
- I can help on delivery, just let me know how far you are located from 44236 and we can figure it out.

I am asking $600 total, which is less than my cost....Please PM me if you are interested!!

I travel quite a bit for work, so my lens was dirty. I picked up a cleaning kit, and it looks better.

Great set of speakers for a great price. Speaking from the viewpoint of someone who's about to mod my third pair of SDA's, I can honestly say that the buyer of these will be getting a fantastic deal. The parts to do the mods aren't cheap, and it takes a lot of time and effort to get the finished product to be this nice. Great job, hope you find an easy sale to a buyer who will enjoy these for years to come.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Hope the buyer realizes the deal he's getting. $600 sounds like a lot for 2B's, but the mods are where all the expense is. Not to mention being able to get the speakers with all the hard work already done. Nice sale.

Glad someone snatched these up, but do you really have space in that basement room for another pair of SDA's bc? Your wife must be a 'saint'? lol

She is a saint. My house is turning into the Polk museum. My speakers are now split into a couple of rooms. The family room you are referring to is more of an obsticle coarse of speakers and stereo gear. I may have to take a family picture of my SDA's.

I just looked closer at the Modded XO's. One of the legs on the 5.8uF caps is supposed to be in the "H" hole and is not?! Can someone explain?
