I must say the whole bickering over the money thing sickens me but I am looking forward to the NFL draft tonight. It will be interesting to see where Cam Newton goes. Cheers.

I'll be watching for Randall Cobb. Great guy. Played Xbox and PS3 with him every week last year in the dorms.

Not to be too pessimistic, but until the strike is over, what's the point? And even when it is, it's the fans that will end up being the big loosers anyway, paying higher ticket prices and everything else associated with being a fan. I am done with pro sports.

Why are people at the draft booing the commissioner - does he really have anything to do with the labor issues of the NFL, or have all these people just had too many to drink?

I think the people collectively blame Roger Goodell for the failure to reach a new collective-bargaining agreement with the players. The alcohol probably doesn't help, either.

I can hear the announcer now, "Matt Ryan to Julio Jones for a touchdown."

John, it was a lockout caused by owners opting out of a contract, not a labor strike. And, it's over. Will be interesting to see what happens going forward.

Probably fairly. I would blame much of the current situation on his poor leadership.

There's not a word to summarize the bond I share with my PS3. I hold Sony accountable for this added stress on top of finals week. Can't start a party without a round of COD: Black Ops and Bacardi 151.

Hopefully my Texans won't pick him. Playing game and drink Bacardi 151 every week won't allow him to outrun anybody in the NFL

Haha. No alcohol in the dorms. Too bad. That would be wild.

The Contract had expired prior to the lockout. Strike or Lockout, the effect for the fans ends up being the same. I am (was) a fan of the sport of professional football, not of watching multi-millionaires fight with BILLIONAIRES over how much more money they can take from the fans before the entire system implodes. They will not see another dime from me, as I can watch college ball for free.

I like the Fins going with Pouncey at 15. It's hard to criticize O line additions of that quality.

He'll help Henne and the running game as well. Solid.

I know nothing about him, but the guy is going to be good and not just because he has all the skills to be. The guy legitimately seemed to care. That was a big deal for him and I think he will do everything in his power to make sure he's good. I got a very good vibe from him.

The Lions drafted like a real team. All of this behaving like a real pro franchise is hard to get used too. I bet teams will loose some sleep over facing the d-line. Let's hope the qb survives more than 3 games this year.
