I know I'm new to these parts, but I've just got to tell someone who will appreciate it.
I'm so freaking jazzed right now!!!
My RTA 12's are done, as you can read about in my other thread... So I now have the Speakers I have always wanted (Well, not THE speakers - those would be the SDA SRS 1.2's - maybe down the road)...
Now - Tomorrow I'm completing a 13 year journey. The first time I saw a McIntosh amp was before I was married, in around 96 or so..... Always said I would one day own a classic such as that. Well, I'm picking up a MC2100 in real good shape (which I will be recapping soon after). I can't believe I finally will have a system I can be proud of!!
Thanks for listening!!

The MC-2100 will need attention.
There was an MC-2100 restoration article in audioXpress magazine some years back; feel free to PM me if you'd like further information. -

I've found a bunch of info from various forums, and have started a re-capping plan of sorts, but I'm definitely interested - PM inbound shortly. -
From my reading, Terry Dewict (spelled wrong, I'm sure) at Audio Karma is thought to be THE guy to send a McIntosh piece for work, other than the factory or Audio Classics.
Congrats on the mods and your new amp. I hope you enjoy them!!

Sorry - I realized that this thread probably doesn't belong in here!!! Forgive the bandwidth suck...
Hawkeye - I sent Terry an email after finding his posts over at AK... Hopefully he will have time to get back with me. I'm finding a lot of folks here and elsewhere are proving quite helpful!
