    If I were the police, I would look the other way as some unknown and masks citizens shot the WBC people with beanbag or rubber bullets. There would need to be an investigation into the matter, but it would be hard to discover the identity of any of these masked attackers...

    hell, they could even use paintball or airsoft guns that are tuned to a higher than competition legal FPS... would still hurt like hell.

    I know that might be a little dangerous, but hell, they are doing gods work, right? god must be protecting them. Have to be careful not to martyr them though...

    If stuff like that happened, WBC people would be less enthusiastic to show up and crash a funeral....

    Great job.

    Last summer we had a local service member to be buried with a WBC protest. A local radio talk show host offered his mike for 1 1/2 hours during the funeral in exchange for them not protesting. They accepted and the head witch got a chance to prove why this outfit is full of nut jobs.

    The leader is a lawyer and many of the 'moms' in that cult are also lawyers. I think they make their most $$ from legal cases.

    I'm someone who doesn't think "God" needs to be brought into each and every facet of society, especially when 'he" is being used as an excuse.

    However, if anyone in this "church" were in my area planning on protesting a funeral I wouldn't hesitate to escort them out of the area forcefully. To me this has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with being a decent person.
