DIY outdoor speakers?

Anyone succeeded in making some decent outdoor speakers? considering DIY vs used atriums for outdoor 5.1 on the cheap. Have 4 Mark Audio CHR-70s laying around that would work reasonably well in a smallish enclosure (think 6"x6"x4" weatherproof ABS junction box). Anyone tried anything like this?
