So one of my RTIa3's fell today, the stand topled over and it crashed to the ground. I almost died. I had barely even used the speaker before the accident. It landed on carpet, and sounds the same as it had before the incident. Think its okay?

Sorry to hear about your speaker falling. These speakers are extremely well built! I say that because I am in Japan and had one of my RTiA3's launch off the edge of my entertainment center during that ginormous quake we had last month. Still works fine - says a lot about the build quality!

I too had an incident where my dogs were rough-housing and the knocked over one of my rear speaker stands which hold the RTi A3's, the speaker fell on tile outside of the carpeted area of the living room. It scared the crap out of the dogs lol, I went over to investigate and picked up the speaker and looked at it, not even a scratch and I shook it to see if anything internal had come loose and nothing. I turned on the test tones once I had it back on the stand to make sure I had it aligned right and everything sounded like it did before and it sounded fine. I had never installed the spikes in the stand so I installed them and it is alot more stable now. If anything after taking a 3 foot fall onto a hard surface and coming out unscathed I'm more confident on the build quality than I was before!

Wait till you have a real heart attack. A speaker will be the last thing on your mind!:biggrin: Although I can understand the shock of having a speaker topple over:biggrin:

One of my RT7's was knocked over a while back and the tweeter stopped working. My heart sank that day.
