This is a killer little pre--first off it comes with a 6x5 rectifier--Mullard CV 574 that I purchased about 18 months ago--Sylvanis 6EM7,,and two Baldwin labeled Sylvania 6SN7's,,from Jerryj12's historic first organ pull.I replaced the captive power cord with Carol Cable and a Pass & Seymour Plug,, next, the output coupling caps are VH Audio-PIO's,bypassed with Russian K-40Y's(.022),,a Mundorf in the power supply finishes things up.It has a "stepped" attenuator.I removed the "balance" control,, I can replace it if you like, but felt that it was unecessary for my application.Aftermarket "spikes" on the base--it's missing a few screws on the bottom plate. It has plenty of inputs,,a mute--hi/lo gain switch on the back. The unit was assembled by George Wright(RIP),,in 2000.I have agonozied over selling this, but the fact is,I ain't using it anymore. This unit is kinda like the Dodd ELP in the sense that you don't have to use too much volume control. These are not made anymore,so they are becoming few and far between these days.Price is more than fair--so please,,no pm's with "offers".PM if innarested. Thanks for looking.
