Car Audio pinch

Well some fo you may or may not know I am a car audio installer. Been doing it for 7 years now.
Some of my bigger installs were being flown to california to do a install on a 370z, and a major install on a BMW 740IL.
I was contacted about 2 months ago by a customer that lives in Virginia. He wanted to ship me the car for a major install with full fiberglass and so on.
Now a friend of mine in the business does very good fiberglass work and has been dying to do a 370z. So I thought we could double team it.
So we all talked and agreed and the car and 8k worth of parts was shipped to his friends shop up in Glassboro. I had no problem at first with leaving the car there. It was a dry place were we could both work on the car.
However, this has turned into a major downfall.
For starters my partner has been working a job and has siad that he would be working there in the afternoon and I could join him. I get out of work at 4:30 I would call earlier in the day to see if he would be there. It would come up 45% chance he would but not until later. Sense it was a hour drive from where I work and a 2 hour drive back to where I live, I could not make it there at the later times.
Second Some weekends he would say lets me at this time, ok I said. Would be there and after calling him a few times found out he would not be there at all or until very later that day.
For final break down, he said he was taking the whole week off to work on the car and a few other things and that once again I could come after work to help. All this week I have called with no reply, until Friday when he asked if I was going to be in the shop. I said f course but no reply.
This morning I got a text from the owner saying communications with my partner have been hit or miss and wanted a update "in a calm manner".
What are my options here? I do not have a garage in which I can keep the car and it is in no way drivable right now nor does it have tags. Should I just stick it out and get my partner back in line?

If you are confident enough in your own ability to do his portion of the work, or you are confident enough in someone else, you should go that route.... quick.
