Question on Mix & Match Speakers
Greetings:
First of all I am lucky enough to have two sets of surround systems and accidentally mixed and matched some Polk speakers as follows:
1 set: Front speakers L&R Monitors 70 Center speaker CS400i. ( HTR )
2 set: Front Speakers RT800i Center speaker CS2. ( FR )
It seems that both sets are not timbre match and the Centers should be switched, the problem is that were the CS400i will be placed it might not hold the extra weight of the 400i (13 lbs) extra.
One solution is to reinforced the table where the 400I will be placed and hope for the best and should comment that I am unable to switch the Towers do to size in that particular room.
So my question is this, is the mismatch of the timbre that significant for movies, or music????
