After having finished my first viewing I can sincerely and emphatically urge all of you to forgo any thoughts you might have had about the redundancy of purchasing the Theatrical release. I too debated this purchase, obviously were all salivating over the EE.
That said, all of you can expect a visual and auditory experience that quite Frankly makes Daredevil look and sound like a camcordered 5th grade field trip.
Two must see previews are offered on disk two, witnessing them was nothing short of magestic. The 11 minute long preview for the Return of the King offers us an unpresedented view of things to come much more so than any other pirated and or legally fed clip or preview to date. It also confirms some much debated plot content. Seemingly, all of the major events within the book will be included, Ill let you discover more on your own.
Secondly, a preview of the TT EE is also provided. It appears as if we are all in for a treat as the return of a much loved character is slated to appear within the EE. From what I could gather, the EE will offer a great deal of added exposition and character development. So much so that my impression is that it will eclipse its predesessor on content and length.
This is sincerely a must buy at 15.74 from you local Best Buy.
WOW, I am pumped for the thanskgiving and Christmas Holidays!

Not if it and the rest of your speakers are properly calibrated with a diagnostics/test disc like Avia or Sound & Vision, and an SPL meter. Post calibration, the only thing that tells me to turn it down is my wife! :rolleyes:Mains: polkaudio RTi70's (bi-wired)

The DD version of LOTR is mastered very hot - if you test out both versions with the same settings, it's EASY to notice it. So in this case, turning down the sub a click or two may suit you best. It's all about what YOU like to hear.Mains: polkaudio RTi70's (bi-wired)
