Hey guys,
So I need to get a receiver that will power my RtiA3's, CsiA4, and Mirage subwoofer. I do not want to spend a lot of money on this, I am already over budget as is for a broke college student... The receiver will be used with my Sony XBR 46inch LCD tv, bluray player, as well as xbox 360. Please let me know what you guys think. Again, I REALLY dont want to spend a lot, just need something that will sound good and work.
Cheers

Sound good AND entry level receiver kinda are at opposite ends of the pond.
Whats your idea of cheap ? Give us a dollar range. You may be better off going used to stretch the buck. Look for a used pioneer elite, HK, Marantz, Lots of choices in the under 500 buck range for entry level receivers, and pretty much all will drive those speakers.HT SYSTEM-

HONESTLY, the cheapest possible. Sub 3 hundred if possible. I know that wildly cheap, but its all I can afford!

HK 24hr auctions on ebay is a good way to score a 2xx series that sounds great for ~ $250.00. They make a fine starter pre/pro as well since they have preouts.

SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B

Check Best Buys open box section. I got a Pioneer 1020 for $329 last month. For the money it's a great receiver.

My 5.1 Pioneer 819H powers 2 RtiA1's, a CsiA4, and 2 Polk TL3 surrounds quite nicely in a 16x18x 9 foot ceiling room that has large openings on all 4 walls. My HSU subwoofer, like yours I expect, doesn't require any "power" other than it's own. The Pioneer nevers gets above warm to the touch. Going to a more expensive 7.1 receiver doesn't necessarily give your more power TO each speaker. It just gives you the ability to power 7 speakers instead of 5. I had some extra money to spend recently and went into Best Buy to buy a bigger, "better" AVR. The very knowledgeable salesman told me I was throwing money away and sent me home with my money.

Got my Onkyo refurb from this place about 3 years ago. Still works great.
