A RETREAD OF UPGRADING MY ICs

Hello again, I really do apologise if this post sounds familiar.I own a 2- chl system which now I think the weak link are my ICs. Now to tell you what I have at this moment is a single Phillips IC and a stripped heavy duty no match IC I have done some reasearch w/ my wallet as the determining factor for now.At Blue Jean Cable , very nice and made to order a pair of 4ft ICS would be about $40.00. Not bad,
Next up was Audio quest and they wanted for the 4ft $169.00 so out of the question unless I get an inheritence.
Next comes CNA 4FT Python RCAs which were $12.00 for the pair and not highly looked upon here.
Finally I saw on E-BAYa buy it now Monster Cable model THX600 FOR $15.00 w/free shipping. This I think will be the ones I will go with. I know there are so many other brands out there, and I've cruised Audiogon but they are to much for me to go for. Now, I don't think a$ 15.00 investment is out of line and if the cash did roll in a 4ft IC is not that much to deal with. Just so all you guys know I did peruse the for sale section at both Polk and the Klipsch sites. So I know most of you do not like to go cheap but it has got to be better than what I have now.......LW

Seriously, just post an update in your original thread instead of making multiple threads about the same subject. Your budget is dictating your purchase so there is pretty little debate to be had. Buy what you can afford now and move up later when you are able to. No need to shop for a Ferrari today when a used Yugo is still going to be your price point tomorrow.

Please, for the love of God, post in your original threads......this is ridiculous that you start a new thread everytime you want to comment furthur.
Don't waste money on Monster products.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Puritan Audio PSM136 Pwr Condtioner & Classic PC's | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node3 - Tubes add soul! -
Get some Signal Cable Analog II's and be done with it. They're a hell of a cable for the money and you'll be set. $62 for a pair of 4 footers isn't bad and it'll sound better than anything around that price range.

If you want some decent, affordable ICs, check these out. I scored a pair from another member here awhile back for my bedroom rig. They perform wonderfully and have a nice look/feel to them. Double your budget and get some nice cables. 36.00 for a 2m pair. BJC would be a fine choice also.
You can flip these a lot easier than some MC when you're ready to move up. I'd opt to use an OEM cable before buying anything Monster offers.

Aren't the Belden 89259 the same as SC analog II's?
