Sda2 speakers too good?

I've got a pair of SDA2s with two sl2000 tweeters that are being powered by a Carver Avr-100 receiver[150wpc] that I bought new in 1987. I know it's not the most glamorous rig, but I can't believe the sound that fills my family room! Everyone that has heard them loves the sound of those Sda's. Even my wife, who says I have too many speakers, admitted that Simon and Garfunkle never sounded better! Should these speakers be sounding this good? I'm worried!

Not to worry. Enjoy them. They are a very balanced speaker.

Upgrades would make Simon and Gargunkle be IN your living room.

There are a ton or posts on the upgrades.

Try a seperate amp if the receiver has pre-outs.

They should sound very crappy. There may be ghosts and demons inside so I suggest you have them destroyed immediately. These ghosts and demons will make other speakers of much higher cost sound very poor to you. Get out before you too become possessed!
