Getting back into it
Im finally starting back into the audio/home theater hobby after a couple years off from any serious upgrading.
I got a great set of surround speakers from a fellow Polkie on here. I now have Rtia3s as surrounds and Fxia4s as surround backs, along with my Lsi25s in the front and LSiC in the center. Im not too worried about mixing the LSi and Rtia family of speakers as this setup is an interim step for me to replace all speakers in 2 years time. Desipte that plan I am definately enjoying the new 7.1 set up.
Since the bug bit me again Ive bought the speakers, ordered some silver resolution analog interconnects from Frank at Signal Cable and in the process of special ordering some nice speaker stands. Some other upgrades that will fit into my 2011 upgrade schedule include a dedicated bluray player (Oppo 95), a new sub (Looking at Paradigm subs) and some Harmony remote to simplify things. Should be a fun year of enjoying getting closer to audio/home theater nirvana!
