help in getting started

so iv been very interested lately in investing in a sub system for my truck. Its noy a four door, which means id have to have the system sitting in the back seat. which isint a problem for me. my questions are what should i start off with, for size , nubmer of subs, suggestions for types, etc, and types of amps to go with the subs, anything would help really. thanks alot

start chossing the subs u want for ur truck, for example there are to many small subs and boxes, then check how many watts rms they are and how many ohms and coils, and look for an amp. for example if u select one sub that is 1000watts peak (500 w rms) dual coil 2ohm each one, look for and mono amp of that are around 780-1000 watts peak stable at one ohm (this because u will conect the two coils in paralell) and will trow 1ohm.
