Tornados in NC

We had a bad weather day here in central NC. We had around 5 tornados touch down and cause a lot of damage. The big one destroyed a Lowe's home improvement store in Sanford about 30 miles south of Raleigh and stayed on the ground and came right through downtown Raleigh. The death toll is up to 5 and climbing and a lot of people injured and homeless. They are saying this is the worst in recent history. The last tornado outbreak was in 1988.

All's clear here in Chapel Hill. In fact, just as the storm hit Sanford the sun came out over my house.

I feel truly blessed.

My thoughts are with those not so fortunate.

Condolences to all those affected. I was sweating this storm all day in SC, and it never appeared.

We were worried here in Wilm. all day to. Nothing happened here that I know of. Yea, that was a bad storm for alot of states and townships.

God help those that were affected by it.
