1 meter vs 2 meter interconnects

Does anyone think there could possibly be any audible degradation or difference in SQ going from a 1 to a 2 meter RCA interconnect from tube integrated to CDP? Personally I've never used anything over a meter.

Too many variables, but really I doubt it unless the cable has poor shielding and is subject to picking up interference (depending what's running near/next to it). Could be wrong but it's just my theory.

Prefer my cables to be as short as possible for said-application though that could bite me in the **** from time to time when I move things around and need a longer cable.

Assuming very good construction and shielding.

Thanks, bud. As long as I've been doing this I should know better I guess. Just never used anything longer than a meter so I had no reason to wonder I guess. I just got a good deal on some Audioquest Jaguars with the 36V DBS so I figured I'd try them but the guy thinks he sent me a 2m pair by accident.

Nah. As long as cable routing rules are kept in mind.

Keep cables as short as possible, but I can't blame you for picking up a good deal either.

I have 30' of RCA style cables feeding a whole house receiver. Must say nice cables, and never thought the signal was degraded from it's source 30' away.
