Oppo DV90-HD power supply upgrade?

Does anyone have experience upgrading the power supply of an Oppo DV-970HD? I've recently played around with replacing all the audio path and power supply bipolar caps with Nichicon Fine Gold and Muse grade capacitors. The end result is very sweet, taking what was a detailed but somewhat bright and thin sound and turning it into a tube like experience for tonal lushness, elimination of over emphasis on sibilance. But getting the right spectrum spread has caused some dynamic range compression, my gut sense is that the power supply doesn't have enough reserve for transient peaks due to the wider sustained spectrum output. I have a spare PSU board since my first attempt at a main board mod failed but no schematics
