2-CH Amplifier, preferably near me

Looking for a stereo amplifier for my newly acquired 3.1's.

Doesn't have to be all that powerful, I'll even take an Adcom 545. Let me know what you have!

Prefer someone close to me to cut the shipping expense since I'm on a tight budget. Would like to try out my speakers before getting a good amp/pre later down the road.

    WAF does not exist :biggrin:

    Just something that will sound 'ok' with my SDA's in a small/medium sized room.

    Budget depends on what you've got but prefer not to spend more than $250 or so. I know it's not alot but I do want something now that'll last me for a good couple of months.

    So I'm eyeballing this adcom and might just pick it up but would prefer to deal with a Polkie.

    For $250 I'd be willing to part with my Parasound HCA-1200. Super high current, ~200W/ch @8ohms, and Much better sounding than a GFA-545, IMO. And it's just sitting around feeling lonely. I'll also split shipping with you. I can post pics if you'd like, also.

    Adcom GFA-545 $120 shipped if you're interested. 7/10 condition. Previous owner was a smoker. I got most of the dusk and grime out. Works great. Was serviced by a local High End Audio store a few years back.
