I just went through a 3 day ordeal with them this week.

I think they should add a letter to their logo: UPOS!

It's a Panasonic Toughbook. They should just be able to slap a postage label directly on it:biggrin:

Ha! It was the tape despenser that was shipped to me! Didn't think to add that... I've put that toughbook through worse then that box.

If you think UPS is bad...

Here is a package we recieved from Thailand...the tape and strapping tape added somewhere along the line after the journey started...

And the last picture is of some of the items in the package. A hand painted lacquered tray and soup bowl set. It wasn't destroyed but the lacquer was cracked in areas so it is only a decorative item now.

People who do not know how to pack properly plus careless shipping companies = damaged goods. Both are important.

I may be a bit biased, but stick with FedEx or even the USPS if you have the choice. UPS has a very adversarial management-employee relationship and it shows.

I think the real question here is - why did you have a tape dispenser (of all things) shipped to you?

Like i said yesterday...UPS is full of Jack@sses!!
They tried to deliver to my house again today at 10:30 and refused to leave my package even though i filled out the card so that they could leave it. I can see needing a signature if you live in a condo/apartment complex but in suburban little towns, leave my shite on the steps and walk away Mr. Brownpants!!

Now i have to ask the company if i can have it delivered to the office because they don't like personal packages.....corporate america....sheesh!
Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

Ha! I was waiting for that one. Its easier for me to email our support staff and say, 'Hey, I'd like one of these' then to take a trip somewhere after I'm done with work. Our main office is 400 miles or so from here, so I can't just drop by and grab one.

Besides, they pay me in bread and furs, last time I walked into Staples with 15 buck(skins), they wouldn't let me past the registers. Jerks.

If I can, I will not use UPS to ship anything. I have been in their sorting centers and have seen them throw and kick boxes across the room and into the trucks.

Same here. I have a friend who works for UPS and hear all kinds of horror stories. I have yet to have a problem with Fedex.

My best results for over 500 shipments from the USA to Canada over many years is USPS.
If I have a choice, I select the 2 Postal Services.
