Hi to all! I was told by another member I could post the necklace here so... I believe there are a lot of married guys here and am hoping someone is looking for a nice piece of jewelry for your wife or girlfriend. It has been sitting in a dresser drawer and I would love for someone to get some enjoyment out of it.
I have a genuine Mikimoto pearl necklace for sale. It has never been worn so therefore it is new; it does come with the original inner and outer red Mikimoto boxes. Although the inner box is in perfect condition, the outer box does have a few scratches on it; I can email you pictures of the outer box if you'd like. It was recently appraised at $1,920.00; I am asking $1,400.00 .
The necklace is 16 inches long with the 18K gold Mikimoto clasp. It is stamped with the "M" and 750 on the back as shown in one of the pictures. There is a total of 64 5.5 to 6mm pearls weighing 19.1 grams. The clasp has one 3.5mm pearl on it. I will send you the appraisal along with the small tag that was attached to the necklace. The store who appraised it sells the same size necklace at a cost of about $2,200.00.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send a message through the forum: I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The pearls are not pink as some of the pictures show. I tried for two days to get better pictures and as you can see, I didn't have a whole lot of luck!
Thanks so much for looking and I hope to find a new owner!
Sincerely,
Cindy

Hello,
Here are some additional photographs, I hope they are helpful. The preferred method of payment is with USPS money orders (Upper limits of money order requires more than one). I will ship using FedEx fully insured with signature required at delivery.
Sincerely,
Cindy -
There is always a risk of chargeback with Paypal, so i would recommend only accepting a few USPS money orders (I think limit is $1000 per each) as payment. You can verify security features here: http://www.usps.com/money/sendingmoney/moneyorders/welcome.htm
Bank cashier's check or certified check you may not be able to tell if fake or not unless you know exactly what that bank's authentic checks look like.
I would also choose Fedex instead of USPS, with insurance, and direct signature required at delivery.
Good luck! -
Cindy et al, please do not advertise on craigslist and then have "buyers" come to your house, ever! Very bad things can/have happened with sales of jewelry etc. on CL Just a freindly"heads up".

Actually the pinker the better, value wise. GL with your sale
REGARDS POKEWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I have contacted a moderator to help me get rid of the duplicate post and with editing so I can change the payment info.
As for CL, I've had several people tell me to list them there but I am not dealing with thieves and loonies! I've already heard too many stories about how unsafe it is. Advice taken and thank you.
