Cardas suggestions?

Thinking of changing out the Nordost for either higher end Nordost or possibly trying Cardas for a change for 2 channel cable. I've been running the Nordost Red Dawns balanced.
Anyone have suggestions for where to start in the Cardas line for good bang for the buck?
I did pick up some Cardas speaker cables from here that I really liked when I put them into the system, so wanted to try them out for the rest of it for a bit.

250-300 for a pair of IC's and speaker cables a bit more if I changed those out right away as well...
probably would be looking on the used market.
I would go a bit more depending on if they were pretty good. Some of the Nordost I was looking at where

which I know the one is more than what I put but once again heard they are a great place in the Nordost line. I like so far what the Red Dawns are doing for me but wanted to experiment some more. -
If your showcase is current, I would suggest starting by addressing the room acoustics and experimenting with speaker placement. This should allow you to better evaluate the current configuration and might give a better indication of what to address next.
If you decide to stay with the Nordost line, make the leap to the Heimdall or higher series. Try one in system if possible. I use the Frey series.

I think I will be switching back to Cardas cables shortly, so I can't blame you for looking that direction. :cool:
Anything in their reference line should do you well, and the prices really vary used so you should be able to get some that fit your budget. Which Cardas speaker cables did you get?
