I know the RC85i are listed as in wall speakers. But has anyone had any experience installing them in the ceiling. I really like the sound from these over the RC80i or other round speakers and these are in my price range. For those of you who have just done them in the wall could you visualize these mounted in the ceiling and fitting okay? Thanks in advance.

I just installed two RC85i's (and RC65i front heights) last weekend. There's no reason they wouldn't work well in the ceiling providing you have enough space around them. If I were mounting them in my ceiling I would do it in such a way so that the tweeters are closer to the center of the room pointing away from the side walls with the woofer end about a foot off the side and back walls. Hope that helps.TV: 65" Samsung QLED 4K
