Help Please

So i have a problem because i have purchased a 12 in DXi112 and connected it to a 500 watt kicker amp and every time I try to bump my new system I blow the speaker.and to make it worse I am on my third sub today. this one also happens to be the last one from the store, but any ways can anybody give me any suggestions
