edited October 2012 in For Sale (FS) Classifieds
Well, the hard times have reached home and I don't have much chioce, but to sell most of my gear :frown: I would like to keep it "local pick up only" so that the prospective buyer can test what he/she intends to buy and have peace of mind that everything is in working order. First up...
Lsi15's..Ebony finish with modified sub-woofer and Dynamat on woofer basket and port tube...$750
Lsi9's..Ebony finish with Dynamat on all MW's...$500
LsiC..Gloss black...$300
Fxi A6..Black...$300
Special Notes on spreakers...I am the 2nd owner and all speakers were bought new in Aug. of 2008. I do not have the original boxes, but I do have the Owners Manuals. All speakers are in perfect working order and a delight to listen to. The Lsi9's have velcro on the bottom of the speakers that is used to attach them to the stands that I will include with the sale. Aside from the usual swirl marks from cleaning, one 9 has a small surface scratch that is only visible from close-up. If time permits, I may have that taken care of b4 the sale is finalized. The A6's are near mint condition and have hardly been used.
Next up is my Sunfire Cinema Grand Arcitect's Choice Series II amp. This is the 17" version that puts out 225w @ 8ohm & 450w @ 4 ohms. This amp drives the Lsi's with absolutely no problem at all and does not break a sweat. The only issue with the amp is the on/off switch. When in the on position it works as should, but when in the stand-by or off position, there is static/distortion heard even when there is no source connected. I contacted Rita's repair sevice when I bought the unit and they told me that it sounded like a bad switch. I never replaced the switch because I connect my amps to a surge protector and keep the amps on and just use the on/off switch of the protector...asking $750
Last, but not least is my Oppo BDP-83. I am the original owner and I have all the original boxes and paperwork. It is in mint condition and has the latest firmware. I have not had any problems at all with this unit. I have played dvd's, Blu-rays, Cd's, SACD's and DVD-A and it has performed flawlessly. Asking $399.
I will try to post pics within the next few days. Thanks for looking.

The easiest thing to do is to create an account on a picture sharing site, such as flickr or similar. Then upload pictures there. Then you can just paste a link to the picture in your messages using IMG tags in square brackets.

Is researching free services, opening an account, divulging personal information to yet another party, learning to post there and then learning the IMG syntax really easier than just directly uploading to your post from your computer using the simple CP upload tool??

Don't want to start an argument but... What do you need to research? I already suggested flickr. Divulging personal info??? Wow, someone is paranoid here. Guess what, you have an Internet account, you have CP account!! Your info is out there already. Your ip is published everywhere. Whoever wants your personal info already has it. Also, learning on how to open and close brackets around a single 3-letter tag must be very difficult for people who are scared to be online...

Personally I don't like "nifty simple upload tools" which limit the quality and the size of images that I upload.
