I went to the meat market the other day and saw frog legs in the freezer and grabbed a pound. My wife gave me the "look" after I put them in the cart.

How do I cook them? She refuses to even try. Something about biology in high school?!

The obvious answer is cooking oil in a beaker over a Bunsen burner, mix em in flour from a jar labeled Sodium monoflouroacetate and salt/pepper then drop them in the beaker.

    That'll show her.

I honestly have no idea though...never tried them.

Pan fried was always my favorite. Roll in a flour, salt & pepper mix and fry in just a little oil in an iron skillet. They will indeed jump out of the pan if fresh, but no if they have been frozen. Frozen ones should already be skinned, but if not; you have to skin them first.

I did them on the grill. Soaked them in some soy sauce for about an hour and burned them on the grill for about 2 minutes on each side. They were great! We enjoyed the taste and texture.

Two hours later, I was blowing out my bung hole and blowing the water out of the porcelain buddha. Don't think I'll be doing legs any time soon again:eek:
